The making of a Masterpiece

Ever wonder how is this masterpiece being produce?
The artist invite you to his studio for an inside view of his painting secret.

This is how he started the painting. First he was approached to do a 4.5 x 3 feet acrylic painting on canvas. The client request a painting of a Lion surrounded by 4 wolves.

First, he did a rough sketch and get the client approved before he proceed to pencil the general outline of the image on the canvas.

Once penciled done, he start painting the lion. Some painter paint broadly first, putting in background colours before going into anything specific of fine tuning. But for him, he just paint without think too much.
He start with the dominant features that stand out as powerful elements that will attract the viewer's attention.

Once the lion is completed, he start painting the wolves. A fine brush is needed for painting the fur and detail.

Now the finishing touches. Time to paint the landscape. He let the piece sit for a day or so and then review it just to ensure he didn't overlooked any details.

Once the painting is done, for the final step is apply a gloss vanish to protech the masterpiece and give it a nice shine.
Now with that, the painting is completed ^_^

The Artist House

Welcome to the Artist House ^_^

Does this look like a kindergarten to you? or more like a very big story book page?
This is my House. Dont get me wrong, I am not the Artist. I don't have the talent. My husband is. He painted the wall at our living room. One of his dream is to do a wall painting and I am glad that he did it.

I am looking forward to go home everyday. My home sweet home make me feel like I am in another fairyland world. Such a fairy tale moment.
This is the big magical Tree. Whenever I am having my dinner, I feel like I am having picnic under the big tree. So romantic.

The Flower Arch. The entrance to the secret Garden. Unfortunately there is no secret garden but that is the room where the Artist do his work. He feel like he is in his own world in that room. He enjoy doing his ART works there.
Can you spot a rabbit there?

This is the Secret Path to the Unique Mansion. This piece is one of my favourite of his masterpiece.
By admiring this piece of artwork bring me to the fairy tale land. It remind us of our trip back to Eastern Europe. How we wish we can stay there forever.

All these wall painting took him 1 month to acomplish ^_^
It worth the effort because I am enjoying it everyday every moment.
I know he painted all these for me. I know I am very lucky to have an Artist at home.
All these wall painting make me feel like young again like a little kids with fairy tale fantasy. It is good to keep your mind off and escape from the city tension life once in a while ;)
